Gregory Eddi Jones
Gregory (b.1986) is a photo-artist and web publisher who grew up in Syracuse, and is currently based out of Rochester, NY. He received his B.F.A. in 2010 from Rochester Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing his M.F.A. at Visual Studies Workshop. Greg’s writing and images are focused on the use of the digital medium to explore theories of visual language, constructed imagery, and classical photographic subject matter.
Meghan (b.1985) is a poet and writer living and working in Rochester, NY. She has loved writing since early childhood and is interested in photography and collage work that addresses ideas in philosophy, feminism and literature. Favorite photographers include Francesca Woodman, Vivian Maier, Louise Dahl-Wolfe and Chris Verne. In her spare time she enjoys fussing over her poetry, her orchids, and her greyhound.
Anastasia Samoylova (b. 1984) is an artist and educator based in the Chicago area. She holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art Studies from Bradley University and an MA in Environmental Design from the Russian State University of Humanities in Moscow. Her work has been exhibited internationally and included in the collection at Midwest Photographers Project at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago. Samoylova serves as an assistant professor in photography at Illinois Central College.
Sarah (b. 1986) is an artist currently living in Chicago, IL. She received her M.F.A at Texas Tech University in 2011. She is the Head of the Exhibitions Committee at the Chicago Photography Center as well as an active Volunteer at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. As a modern day explorer, her work is focused on how familiar everyday landscapes shape reality.
Josh Poehlein is an artist living in Seattle, WA. He received his MFA from Columbia College Chicago in 2013 and his BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY in 2007. Josh’s work functions at the intersection of the real and the imaginary. He is interested in using imagery, objects, and narrative to explore potential realities and imagine possible futures.
Luke Shaw is an image maker currently enrolled as a MFA candidate at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He studied neuroscience and photography at the University of Rochester for his bachelor’s degree. His work is rooted in an investigation of experimental logic, using whim and play to illustrate the creative process as it occurs in the realm of the sciences.
Gabriel H. Sanchez
Gabriel H. Sanchez (b. 1989) is a writer and artist, currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. He holds a B.A. in Photo-Communications (2012) and an MFA in Photography (2014) from Parsons The New School for Design. His writings and work explore medium-specific concerns of contemporary photography, particularly how images are perceived after the advent of the Internet. He is a frequent contributor to Artforum.com and an NYC gallery nomad.
