Artist Submissions

In the In-Between welcomes project submissions from artists for portfolio features, interviews, and photobook reviews. All submissions remain on file for 1 year, and are reviewed 4 times annually.

Accepted submissions will be published on In the In-Between, shared with our Facebook page, announced in a quarterly email newsletter, and maintained in our permanent archive.  We also believe in supporting featured artists beyond initial publication, and acceptance places you on our radar for future opportunities such as inclusion to our future print edition program, consideration for occasional print publications and curatorial projects, and first-notice on special projects.

We strive to highlight new and innovative approaches within all genres of photographic production, and value work that  demonstrates exceptional, innovative, and critical photographic authorship.  In the In-Between is positioned as a platform that introduces new and original photographic projects to photo editors, publishers, gallerists, curators, and the contemporary photography field at large.

*A $12 submission fee is required for project submissions.
