Brett Seamans and Lucy “Pony” Lott are a fashion duo based out of the Lower East Side in New York City. Their work ranges from gritty experimental film work to CGI, animation and graphic illustration. These two, just barely out of school, have already begun to make a name for themselves as artists working on the cutting edge fashion-based imaging.

In their own words:
“We began experimenting with CGI and illustration because our minds were moving faster and in ways that our cameras couldn’t keep up. We have started to play around with the different aspects ranging from placing a model into a computer created background to incorporating smaller elements to enhance or to interact with our models.
“We have not seen a lot of this work done within the fashion world and we’re always looking to be on the cutting edge of new ideas. It’s still in its initial steps of experimentation but we have plans to take it all to a new level.”

“As young photographers, we have big ideas but don’t have to budget to produce them. So instead of getting frustrated that we couldn’t travel or create high elaborate sets, we started to create our own through the computer. Not only does this allow us to bring our visions to life, but we can also manipulate these visions in a way that doesn’t even exist in real life. We are able to create a unique universe that would have previously been limited to our minds,
The possibilities with this work and incorporation is really endless. We’re self taught on all of these digital programs so we’re constantly learning with each new project.”

Bio:
Lucy Lott and Brett Seamans are a fashion creative duo currently stationed in NYC. Their edgy style captures the imagination with vivid imagery of a raw, and unrefined elegance. Often inspired by historical art and figures, they play on classical forms by adding their own controversial twist of sexual ambiguity.
